Capstone Energy+, Inc. was incorporated in 1988 and reincorporated as a Delaware corporation on June 22, 2000. The company develops, manufactures, markets, and services microturbines that provide technology solutions for stationary distributed power generation applications, including combined heat and power (CHP), combined cooling, heat and power, renewable energy, natural resources, and critical power supply. Its microturbines can also serve as battery chargers for hybrid electric vehicle applications. The microturbines enable customers to produce on-site power in parallel with the grid or independently where no utility grid is available, offering clean energy with lower maintenance intervals and greater fuel flexibility than competing technologies.
