Nvidia (NVDA) plans to invest in d-Matrix, a developer of AI server chips that aims to compete with Nvidia, The Information reported, citing three people familiar with the deal.
The investment is part of Nvidia's strategy to align its technology with rival chip developers and bring them into its hardware ecosystem, according to the late Thursday report.
