Goldman Sachs (GS) is reportedly working with buyout firm Cinven to reactivate the sale of UK commercial equipment provider JLA Group, Bloomberg News reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Cinven engaged Goldman Sachs to assist with the planned sale, and a deal could value JLA between 1.5 billion pounds ($1.99 billion) and 2 billion pounds, the news outlet quoted the people as saying.
Cinven previously explored a sale in 2024 but held onto the business after deciding that offers did not adequately reflect its growth prospects, the report said.
JLA has about (L)650 million ($863 million) in debt maturing in 2031, including a senior secured loan and a delayed-draw credit facility, according to Bloomberg.
Goldman Sachs, Cinven, and JLA Group did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
