Aspen Neuroscience filed for an initial public offering.

The company did not say how many shares it would list or at what price, according to a Friday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The clinical-stage biotechnology company said it plans to use proceeds from the IPO in part to fund the development of its lead product candidate, a potential cell therapy treatment for Parkinson's disease called sasineprocel.

The company applied to list shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol ASPE.
