BTQ Technologies, MoonPay Korea Plan Post-Quantum Security for Stablecoins

BTQ Technologies (BTQ) has entered a partnership with MoonPay Korea to strengthen the security of its Korean won-backed stablecoin infrastructure against potential threats from quantum computing, the company said Friday.
The companies will develop a phased security roadmap and conduct a proof of concept with Korean banking institutions to test BTQ's Quantum Secure Stablecoin Network for quantum-safe transaction signing and key management, it said.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Shares of BTQ Technologies were over 3% higher in Friday premarket activity.
