High-Tech Metals Proposes Change of Name to Beyond Discovery

High-Tech Metals (ASX:HTM) is set to seek shareholder approval for a proposed change of the company's name to Beyond Discovery, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company is also looking to change its ticker symbol to "BYD," subject to confirmation by the ASX.
The new name better reflects the company's current focus, which is moving beyond just discovery toward the development of existing gold deposits alongside continued exploration across its landholding, per the filing.
The proposal will be put to a shareholder vote at an annual general meeting planned for Nov. 27.
High-Tech Metals shares fell 2% in recent Thursday trade.
