Endeavour Silver plans to revise its production targets for the year after disruptions held back growth in the latest quarter.
The Canadian silver producer with mines in Mexico and Peru said annual production is expected to be at or slightly below the low end of its latest guidance following operational interruptions at the Terronera and Guanacevi operations.
Endeavour early this year forecast silver-equivalent production of between 14.6 million and 15.6 million ounces in 2026, including 8.3 million to 8.9 million ounces of silver and 46,000 to 48,000 ounces of gold from its Terronera, Guanacevi and Kolpa mines.
Output in the third quarter totaled 3.61 million silver-equivalent ounces, up 19% on a year earlier. For the first nine months of the year, production was 40% higher at 10.39 million ounces.
Chief Executive Dan Dickson said that despite temporary disruptions, the Terronera plant reached optimal processing performance and the Kolpa expansion exceeded expectations. Operations at the Terronera mine were suspended for about 12 days in August due to a blockade, while the mill at Guanacevi was taken offline in September to replace parts and conduct repairs that are expected to be completed in the first half of October.
