Beckton Dickinson to Invest $3 Billion in Local US Medical Product Manufacturing

Beckton Dickinson (BDX) agreed to invest $3 billion to onshore manufacturing of essential medical products, US President Donald Trump said Monday.

The plan includes over $1 billion to expand production in Nebraska for items such as needles made with American steel, Trump said on Truth Social.

The decision follows planned medical device tariffs scheduled to take effect by the end of the year, he added.
