Huadong Medicine's (SHE:000963) HDM2005 for injection obtained a fast track designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Thursday.
The drug is being developed as a treatment for patients with relapsed or refractory mantle cell lymphoma, who had at least two lines of systemic therapy, including a BTK inhibitor.
The Chinese drugmaker's shares rose 1% at the close.
