Toyota Motor (TM) will raise the price of steel sheets supplied to auto parts manufacturers by about 12,000 Japanese yen ($75) per ton in H2, starting from October, Nikkei reported Thursday.

The increase, the automaker's first in four years, will bring prices above the April to September level, according to the report.

Toyota did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
