Yunnan Chihong Zinc & Germanium (SHA:600497) posted a 71% year-over-year jump in attributable net profit in the first half to 1.59 billion yuan from 932.3 million yuan.
Earnings per share rose to 0.3155 yuan from 0.1831 yuan, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.
Revenue at the zinc, lead and germanium miner surged 31% to 13.8 billion yuan from 10.6 billion yuan.
The performance was in line with the company's guidance for a 66% to 88% profit growth in H1, issued in July.
