Stock futures were rising early Tuesday as the tech sector, and chip stocks in particular, looked set to rebound.
These stocks were moving ahead of the open:
Nvidia was battling to snap a seven-day losing streak, its longest since September 2022. The stock rose 0.8% ahead of its earnings after the close Wednesday.
Other chip stocks were set for larger gains-Intel rose 3.8%, Marvell was up 3.4%, and Advanced Micro Devices climbed 2.6%.
Dick's Sporting Goods tumbled more than 14% after the retailer cut its full-year profit forecast as earnings missed expectations. The company lowered its guidance to earnings per share of between $11 and $12, from a previous range of $13.50 to $14.50.
Crypto-exposed stocks were mixed as Bitcoin fell back after surpassing $80,000 overnight for the first time since May. Strategy, the largest corporate holder of the world's largest cryptocurrency, slipped 0.5% after a 2.8% rise Monday. Coinbase Global and Robinhood Markets were both higher after falling in the previous session.
Intuit, Semtech, and Zoom Communications are among the companies set to report earnings after the close.
