Meta Platforms (META) has yet to propose to the European Commission changes to limit the addictive design of its social media platforms, Reuters reported Thursday, citing a Commission spokesperson.
The Commission expects Meta to introduce proper screen-time management and parental controls, the report said. "Meta knows ... the ball is in Meta's court," the spokesperson said, according to the report.
Meta did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
