Moon Environment Technology's (SHE:000811) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half rose 17% to 311 million yuan from 265.8 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Friday.
Earnings per share increased 15% year on year to 0.31 yuan from 0.27 yuan.
Operating revenue climbed 18% to 3.68 billion yuan from 3.12 billion yuan in the prior year.
The Chinese industrial equipment manufacturer's shares jumped 4% at the close.
