Alphabet's (GOOGL) Google said its Gemma suite of open AI models surpassed 1 billion downloads, with developers creating more than 100,000 model variants over the past two years.
Gemma models are being used across applications including space, healthcare and scientific research, Google said Wednesday in a blog post.
