Ingenia Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company, has gone public on South Korea's KOSDAQ market, according to a statement on Tuesday.

Founded in Boston in 2018, the company uses two proprietary technologies designed to repair weakened blood vessels and clear out harmful proteins that drive disease.

Its lead drug candidate, IGT-427, is being tested in late-stage trials for two serious eye conditions-age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema.

The program continues through a licensing deal with Merck, which acquired Ingenia's partner EyeBio in 2024.

The IPO funds will also speed up development of other treatments, including IGT-303 for chronic kidney disease (currently in mid-stage patient trials) and IGT-532 for solid tumors
