Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) intersected high-grade silver beyond the current mineral resource, confirming extensive antimony mineralization at the Maverick project in Nevada, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling returned 98 meters at 120 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent from 173 meters, including nearly 48 meters at 201 g/t silver equivalent from 177 meters, and up to 812 g/t silver equivalent, the filing said.
The company expects the release of a scoping study between year-end and early next year, pending progress of the current drilling program, per the filing.
