Astra Enterprise Sets Up Digital Asset Investment Subsidiary

Astra Investment (SET:ASTR) has established a new subsidiary, Astra Capital, with an aim to invest in businesses related to digital assets, finance and investments, according to a Tuesday filing with the Thailand Exchange.

The digital asset investment firm is expected to increase the new unit's registered capital by 130 million baht, via the issuance of 13 million new shares, taking its total registered capital to 130.1 million baht.

The increase in funding will be financed through the company's working capital, with registration slated for the third quarter of the year.
