Far Eastern SOGO, a unit of Far Eastern Department Stores (TPE:2903), is set to start trial operations for the largest area of the Garden City shopping mall in Taipei, Focus Taiwan reported Tuesday, citing the company's president for business operations, Wu Su-yin.
The company's shares were up nearly 3% in Wednesday's trade.
Area B, also known as Monet Garden, covers about 99,180 square meters and will have more than 560 brands, according to the report.
