PowerChina Logs 13% Drop in New Contracts in January-July

Power Construction Corp. of China (SHA:601669) posted a 13% year-over-year decline in newly signed contracts to 640.5 billion yuan for the January-to-July period.

Domestic contracts fell 24% to 439.6 billion yuan, while overseas contracts jumped 29% to 200.8 billion yuan, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The power infrastructure company signed 4,561 new projects during the period.

Shares of Power Construction of China were down 1% in recent trade.
