The interim dividend will be paid on Sept 8.For 1HFY2026 ended June 30, AEM Holdings reported a 876% y-o-y increase to $30.8 million, on revenue of $247 million, which is 29.9% higher than 1HFY2025. An interim dividend of 2.4 cents has been declared.\nThe better performance was attributed to a 191.7% y-o-y rise in revenue from AEM's fabless artificial intelligence/ high performance computing (AI/ HPC) customer and a higher contribution from test cells solutions (TCS). On a sequential basis, revenue rose 11.5% q-o-q, supported by demand for solutions used in high-power AI and HPC device applications.\nNet profit margin rose to 12.5%, up from 1HFY2025's 1.7%. AEM says that the improvement was supported by a more favorable revenue mix driven by higher TCS contribution, better fixed-cost absorption at higher volumes, and greater operating leverage.\nOn a segmental basis, revenue from the TCS segment grew 52.5% y-o-y to $180.9 million which represented 73.2% of revenue. Growth was led by the deployment of AEM's test solutions for advanced AI/ HPC applications, where demand is \"intensifying\" for highly parallel test solutions featuring \"leading\" thermal-control capabilities.\nThe contract manufacturing segment reported external revenue of $63.2 million, representing 25.6% of total revenue. External revenue decreased 5.7% y-o-y, mainly due to softer external demand from oil and gas customers.\nAEM held cash and cash equivalents of $82.7 million with borrowings of $26.1 million. AEM says that its balance sheet provides business with the financial flexibility to support customer programme ramps, ongoing R&D initiatives and capital allocation priorities.\nAEM has raised its FY2026 revenue guidance to $630 million to $680 million from $550 million to $600 million. The upward revision is supported by the production ramp-up of its fabless AI / HPC customer, the PC / Foundry customer's adoption of the AMPS platform for future test requirements, and the planned shipment of the first memory final test handler in 4Q2026 ahead of a ramp in 2027.
