Woolworths Group (ASX:WOW) is taking its Farmers' Own milk brand off the shelf at supermarkets across Australia amid declining sales, ABC News reported Friday, citing a company spokesperson and dairy farmer Tim Bale, who helped launch the brand in 2013.

Farmers' Own bottles have already been phased out in South Australia and are due to exit markets in Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria by next year, according to the report.

Woolworths is working closely with suppliers and will continue to honor existing contracts, a company spokesperson told the news outlet.
