Robinhood Markets (HOOD) plans to accelerate the pace of debuts for its publicly traded closed-end funds after its first two attempts to make private firms more accessible to its retail customers, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing an interview with Robinhood chief financial officer Shiv Verma.

Robinhood's first fund, with stakes in large private technology companies, debuted in March and is followed by a second fund set to begin trading Thursday, focusing on early stage firms coming out of the startup incubator, Y Combinator, according to the report.

Robinhood Markets did not immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
