Health Care up on Growth Hopes - Health Care Roundup

Health-care companies rose amid optimism about the growth outlook in the sector.

Eli Lilly shares rose after it sued several U.S. entities, including a California spa and online sellers of experimental peptides, alleging they were selling unlicensed versions of one of its obesity drugs.

Shares of Canadian drug maker Apotex Health fell after it swung to a quarterly loss on lower revenue. The company said Canadian launches of generic Ozempic and Wegovy obesity drugs helped to offset an expiring cancer-drug license.
