Tata Steel to Divest Jamshedpur Football Club Stake

Tata Steel (BOM:500470, NSE:TATASTEEL) agreed to transfer its entire stake in Jamshedpur Football and Sporting to Churchill Brothers Sports Club for a nominal 100 Indian rupees, according to a Friday exchange filing.
The transaction covers the Indian Super League sporting license and the contracts of 12 players and two coaches.
Completion is expected by Aug. 31, subject to approvals from the All India Football Federation and other conditions.
