PM Capital Global Opportunities Fund Completes Around AU$221 Million Placement, Shares Fall 3%

PM Capital Global Opportunities Fund (ASX:PGF) completed its placement, which was upsized to around AU$221 million after "significant support" from existing shareholders and new investors, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The placement includes the issue of around 72.1 million new fully paid ordinary shares at AU$3.07 per share.
The proceeds will be invested in line with the existing investment strategy managed on behalf of the fund by PM Capital, its investment manager.
Shares fell 3% in recent trading on Thursday.
