Parsons received a task order worth up to $70 million from the U.S. Air Force to support air defense capabilities in Europe and Africa.

The $70 million ceiling task order, awarded under the Air Force's Air Base Air Defense contract, covers integration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and other operational support for point defense systems in the USAFE-AFAFRICA region, Parsons said Thursday.

The task order has a four-year initial term with three options for one-year extensions.

"This award reflects our proven ability to integrate and operationalize exquisite defense capabilities in complex, fluid environments" said Mike Kushin, president of the company's Defense and Intelligence business. "By expanding our role on the ABAD program, we will help strengthen the readiness, resilience, and protection of U.S. and allied forces throughout the USAFE-AFAFRICA theater."
