MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings' Attributable Net Income Rises 33% in Fiscal Q1

MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings (TYO:8725) posted a 33% year-over-year rise in attributable net income for the fiscal first quarter to 328.6 billion yen from 246.4 billion yen.
EPS was 226.82 yen, compared with 162.96 yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.
Insurance revenue grew 14% to 1.686 trillion yen from 1.478 trillion yen for the three months ended June 30.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable net income of 425.0 billion yen and basic EPS of 295.75 yen.
The company plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 85 yen per share each for the current year, which are higher from the year-ago period.
