United Overseas Insurance's H1 Attributable Profit Rises

United Overseas Insurance (SGX:U13) logged SG$11.1 million in profit attributable to equity holders in the first half, up 28% from SG$8.6 million a year ago.

EPS for the six months ended June 30 moved to SG$0.3628 from SG$0.2825, according to a Tuesday filing.

The Singapore-listed group's insurance revenue was SG$52.1 million, compared with SG$57.2 million earlier.

Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of SG$0.0907 per share, payable Aug. 31 to shareholders. It paid SG$0.07 a year ago.
