Native Mineral Resources Produces Three Gold Doré Bars in Queensland Project Smelt; Shares Down 5%

Native Mineral Resources Holdings (ASX:NMR) said the smelt completed on Tuesday produced three gold doré bars with a combined doré weight of 861.3 ounces at its Blackjack project in Queensland, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

This smelt represents a 46% increase in doré ounces from the Aug. 4 smelt total of 590 ounces, per the filing. A total 1,451.3 ounces of doré were produced across the two August smelts.

The company added that drilling at Blackjack North is scheduled to begin next week and Central Pit is planned to follow. The planned mining campaign at the Blackjack South Pit was completed on Aug. 4. Around 168,000 tonnes of material was moved, generating around 36,000 tonnes of plant feed material for processing.

Its shares fell nearly 5% in recent trading on Wednesday.
