Eagers Automotive's OEM Supply, Conversion Rate of Order Book to Sales to be Focus of H1 Results, Jefferies Says

Eagers Automotive's (ASX:APE) original equipment manufacturer (OEM) supply and the second-half conversion rate of the large order book to sales will be the focus of its first-half results, Jefferies said in a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

Chinese automaker BYD's supply issues, which were caused by the speed of BYD's Australian sales ramp-up, are now fixed. Toyota's fiscal 2027 first quarter guided fiscal year Japan production to nearly 3.5 million units, which suggests Australian supply should improve over the course of 2026.

Jefferies is forecasting first-half revenue of nearly AU$8 billion and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of AU$451 million for the firm.

The investment firm has a buy rating on Eagers with a price target of AU$27.50 per share.
