SkyCity's Earnings Guidance in Focus Given Soft End to FY26

0039 GMT - SkyCity Entertainment is likely to provide maiden FY27 earnings guidance at its results in August, prompting Forsyth Barr to assess what it might look like. "We calculate that if the softer run rates in the final quarter of the year were to continue through FY27, underlying Ebitda would be NZ$170 million," says analyst Paul Laxton Koraua. Forsyth Barr currently expects Ebitda will total 191 million New Zealand dollars. Still, that is at the low end of consensus hopes. It assumes a slight cyclical improvement in Auckland, largely from SkyCity's gaming business. Forsyth Barr has an outperform call and NZ$0.97/share price target on SkyCity, which is up 0.8% at NZ$0.625.
