Azbil's Fiscal Q1 Attributable Profit Climbs 1.5%

Azbil (TYO:6845) recorded a 1.5% rise in attributable profit in the first fiscal quarter to 5.09 billion yen from 5.02 billion yen a year prior.

Earnings per share were 9.95 yen, up from 9.55 yen in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday Tokyo bourse filing.

The building automation company's revenue increased 2% to 63.7 billion yen from 62.4 billion yen previously, mainly due to growth in the advanced automation business, mainly in the factory automation markets in Japan and overseas.

The company forecasts an attributable profit of 35.5 billion yen, basic EPS of 70.26 yen, revenue of 315 billion yen, and a total dividend of 50 yen per share for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.
