Shares in Venture closed 17 cents, or 1% lower at $16.21 on Aug 6.Mainboard-listed Venture Corporation has reported a 5.6% y-o-y increase in net profit to $119.3 million for 1HFY2026 ended June 30. Earnings per share rose to 41.4 cents and the company declared an interim dividend of 30 cents, up from the 25 cents declared for 1HFY2025.\nRevenue grew 7.4% y-o-y to $1.35 billion and if on a constant currency basis, the growth would be 11.9% y-o-y instead. The higher revenue is attributed to growth across multiple end markets, including those supporting AI-related infrastructure, for the technology domains of: test and measurement instrumentation; networking and communication; and semiconductor-related equipment. The life science technology domain also grew, according to the bourse filing.\nOn a sequential basis, revenue grew 15.6% q-o-q to $736.2 million, reflecting improved business momentum. \nVenture's business is divided into two portfolios. Revenue for portfolio A, comprising life science, medtech and lifestyle consumer, declined 10.4% y-o-y to $439 million. The decline is attributed to lower volumes as reliability improvised due to a key customer's product. On a sequential basis, revenue increased 7.2% q-o-q for the second quarter, due to growth in life science.\nRevenue for portfolio B, comprising test and measurement instrumentation, networking and communications, advanced payment systems, advanced industrial and semiconductor related equipment, increased by around 18.7% y-o-y to around $916 million.\nVenture says that its focus on high value-add solutions and strong operational discipline supported a \"resilient\" net margin of 8.8%.\nVenture's net cash stood at nearly $1.11 billion as at June 30, down from the $1.28 billion as at Dec 31, 2025. The company paid dividends totaling $143.8 million and made share buybacks as well during the half-year.
