Gen Digital Fiscal Q1 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Guides Q2, Lifts 2027 Outlook

Gen Digital (GEN) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings late Thursday of $0.71 per diluted share, up from $0.60 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.69.

Revenue in the three months ended July 3 rose to $1.34 billion from $1.26 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.31 billion.

Gen Digital expects Q2 EPS of $0.71 to $0.73 on revenue of $1.33 billion to $1.35 billion.

Analysts polled by FactSet project EPS of $0.71 on revenue of $1.33 billion.

The company raised full-year guidance and now expects fiscal 2027 EPS of $2.87 to $2.97 on revenue of $5.38 billion to $5.48 billion. The company previously expected EPS of $2.85 to $2.95 on revenue of $5.33 billion to $5.43 billion.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet project adjusted EPS of $2.91 on revenue of $5.38 billion.

The company kept its quarterly dividend at $0.125 per common share, payable September 9, to shareholders of record August 17.
