Diana Shipping (DSX) said Friday that it has signed, through a subsidiary, a time charter contract with Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha, Tokyo, for its m/v Florida Capesize dry bulk vessel.

The gross charter rate is $30,500 per day, less a 5% commission paid to third parties, for at least 32 months up to 35.5 months, resulting in gross revenue of about $29.3 million for the minimum period, the company said.

Diana Shipping said the charter is slated to begin during Q2 of 2027.
