AGL Energy Partners With Point Pearce Aboriginal on Solar Rollout

AGL Energy (ASX:AGL) partnered with the Point Pearce Aboriginal on Narungga Country in South Australia to deliver rooftop solar and battery systems to most homes in the community, according to a Thursday statement by the company.
The initiative aims to lower electricity costs, improve energy reliability, and expand access to renewable energy.
The project strengthens the company's partnership with the Narungga community and supports its reconciliation action plan commitments to improve First Nations customer access and relationships.
AGL Energy's shares added about 1% in recent Thursday trade.
