A total of 40,504 metric tonnes (MT) of products were sold during the Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction held on Tuesday, with supply ranging from 37,045 to 44,702 MT, according to data from the trading platform.
The average selling price for whole milk powder was $3,483 per MT, anhydrous milk fat averaged $6,367 per MT, and mozzarella and butter averaged at $3,992 per MT and $5,225 per MT, respectively.
Additionally, cheddar prices averaged $3,723 per MT, lactose averaged $1,780 per MT, and skim milk powder and butter milk powder averaged at $3,261 per MT and $3,966 per MT, respectively.
