Addus HomeCare's (ADUS) Q2 results were led by strong performance in its personal care segment, which accounted for 78% of revenue and remained the company's key growth driver, UBS Securities said Monday in a report.

Personal care revenue rose 10% to $296 million from a year earlier, $4.5 million ahead of consensus, supported by higher billable hours and improved rates in Illinois and Texas, the report said. Hospice trends were steady, while home health remained a small but strategic part of the portfolio, UBS said.

Addus continues to evaluate clinical and nonclinical acquisition opportunities to expand market density and geographic reach, the report said.

UBS maintained its buy rating on Addus stock and its $145 price target.
