WAM Strategic Value Reports 9.5% Fiscal 2025 Portfolio Return, Declares Final Dividend

WAM Strategic Value (ASX:WAR) said its investment portfolio increased 9.5% in the 12 months to June 30, outperforming the S&P/ASX All Ordinaries Accumulation Index by 3.8%, with the portfolio returning 9.1% and 12.2% per annum over the previous two and three-year periods, respectively, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company reported an operating profit before tax of AU$14.3 million for the 12-month period to June 30, up from AU$12.4 million in fiscal 2025, with an operating profit after tax of AU$12.7 million, up from AU$11.5 million.

The board declared a full fiscal year dividend of AU$0.065 per share from a full fiscal year dividend of AU$0.06 per share a year prior. A final dividend of AU$0.0325 will be distributed to shareholders with a record date of Oct. 2 and payment date of Oct. 30, the filing added.

Pre-tax net tangible assets at the end of fiscal year 2026 were AU$1.25 per share, it added.

The company's shares rose 1% in recent Monday trade.
