Clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Attovia Therapeutics has boosted the size and pricing of its planned initial public offering.

The San Carlos, Calif., company on Tuesday said it now plans to sell 17 million shares at $17 apiece, compared with prior plans to offer 12.5 million shares at between $15 and $17 each.

Attovia, which is working to develop biotherapeutics for immune-mediated diseases with high unmet need, said it expects net proceeds of about $265.1 million from the offering, or around $305.4 million if the underwriters exercise an option to buy an additional 2.55 million shares.

The company said it expects the proceeds, coupled with its existing resources, will be sufficient to fund its operations into 2029.

Attovia, which has applied to list its shares on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol ATTO, said it would have nearly 45.6 million shares outstanding after the IPO, assuming an exercise of the overallotment option, for a market capitalization of about $775 million at the $17-a-share pricing.
