Gildan Activewear (GIL) reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings from continuing operations Thursday of $1.28 per diluted share, up from $0.97 a year earlier.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 28 were $1.58 billion, compared with $918.5 million a year earlier.

The company raised its 2026 adjusted earnings guidance to $4.65 to $4.75 per share from its prior outlook of $4.20 to $4.40 per share, while revenue was now expected at the low end of the previous range of $6.0 billion to $6.2 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $4.29 and $6.13 billion, respectively.
The company agreed to sell HanesBrands Australia for an enterprise value of about A$700 million ($490 million), with proceeds earmarked for debt reduction to accelerate its return to its target leverage range.
