ClearView Wealth Says New South Wales Supreme Court Approves Proposed Acquisition by Zurich Financial

ClearView Wealth (ASX:CVW) said the Supreme Court of New South Wales approved its proposed acquisition by Zurich Financial Services Australia at a hearing on Thursday, according to a same-day Australian bourse filing.
ClearView plans to lodge an office copy of the court orders with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) on Friday, at which time the scheme of arrangement will become effective. The firm will apply to the ASX for the official quotation of, and trading in, its shares on the Australian bourse to be suspended from the close of trading on the same day.
The scheme of arrangement is expected to be implemented on Aug. 20.
