PLS Group Posts Lower June Quarter Spodumene Production, Higher Sales

PLS Group (ASX:PLS) said June quarter production was 214,300 tonnes of spodumene concentrate, and sales were 249,900 tonnes at a realized price of $2,107 per tonne, generating revenue of AU$743 million, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

In the same period last year, the company produced 221,300 tonnes and sold 216,000 tonnes at a realized price of $599 per tonne, generating revenue of AU$193 million, an earlier filing showed.

The company said closing cash was AU$2.29 billion with total liquidity of AU$2.79 billion.

September quarter 2026 production volumes are expected to be lower than the rest of fiscal 2027 as the Ngungaju plant ramps up, with the plant expected to achieve a normalized run rate within the first four months of fiscal 2027, while fiscal 2027 spodumene production is guided at 1 million to 1.1 million tonnes, the filing added.

The company's shares rose almost 1% in recent Thursday trade.
