Edge Copper's shares will graduate to Canada's main stock exchange next month.
The copper-focused exploration company said Thursday it expects to begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange when the market opens Aug. 5, and be delisted from the junior TSX Venture Exchange.
The shift marks an important milestone for the company, President Letitia Wong said. The move will position Edge Copper among established mining companies and broaden access to institutional investors globally, Wong said.
Edge Copper is developing the Zonia copper project in Arizona, a previously producing heap leach copper operation.
