Linde (LIN) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Friday of $4.50 per diluted share, up from $4.09 a year ago.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $4.49.
Sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $9.29 billion, up from $8.50 billion a year ago.
Analysts expected $9.02 billion.
The company expects Q3 adjusted EPS of $4.45 to $4.55. Analysts expect $4.54.
For 2026, Linde updated its adjusted EPS guidance to now be between $17.70 and $17.90 from the prior outlook of between $17.60 and $17.90. Analysts expect $17.91.
