Church & Dwight (CHD) is expected to deliver a "solid" Q2, driven by its domestic business, RBC Capital Markets analysts said in a Wednesday note.

The company is scheduled to report its Q2 financial results on Friday.

Analysts said that based on consumption trends, the company faces upside in its household segment, led by laundry and litter, while a 100-basis-point destocking lap and growth momentum in its international business create a favorable setup.

RBC said the company is expected to modestly raise its organic sales growth guidance to 3% to 5%, supported by a strong H1 with an element of prudence going ahead.

Analysts added that Church & Dwight is well-positioned to manage through the current environment.

RBC retained an outperform rating and a $114 price target on the stock.
