Vulcan Energy Resources Starts Civil Construction Activities at German Power Plant Site

Vulcan Energy Resources (ASX:VUL) said it launched civil construction activities at the 30-megawatt Lionheart geothermal power plant site in Landau, Germany, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The activities include the preparation and construction of foundations and concrete works for power plant buildings, and the construction of road infrastructure, per the filing.
Lionheart involves an integrated lithium and renewable energy project targeting an annual production capacity of 24,000 tonnes of lithium hydroxide monohydrate, with a co-product of 275 gigawatt-hours of renewable power and 560 gigawatt-hours of heat per year over an estimated 30-year project life, Vulcan Energy said.
