Sugi Holdings Completes 16.2 Billion Yen Third-Party Share Allotment to GIC

Pharmaceutical firm Sugi (TYO:7649) has completed a third-party allotment of 5.08 million new shares to Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC, raising 16.2 billion yen in total proceeds.
Priced at 3,195 yen per share, the transaction was executed through a short-form subscription agreement and the payment was finalized on Monday, according to a Tokyo bourse filing the same day.
Following the allotment, Sugi's total outstanding shares increased to 195.1 million from 190 million, while its capital base expanded to 23.6 billion yen from 15.4 billion yen.
