Eastroc Beverage to Build 1 Billion-Yuan Production Base in Henan

Eastroc Beverage (SHA:605499, HKG:9980) plans to invest 1 billion yuan in a production base at the Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone in Henan, China, establishing a wholly-owned subsidiary with 100 million yuan in registered capital.
The 247.8-mu facility is expected to complete construction within 36 months, with production starting six months later, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The subsidiary, tentatively named Zhengzhou Dongpeng Vitamin Beverage, will handle beverage and food production.
Shares of the beverage producer rose 1% in recent trade.
